[골프영어]Driving Range(골프 연습장) 이용하기

골프장에서 Green과 Driving Range가 있는 골프장을 방문하여 골프 연습을 하기 위해서 고객이 직원에게 이용방법, 즉 패스 구매에 대해 물어보고, 패스를 구매하고 결제하는 상황을 다룬 Dialog입니다. 대화의 상황을 상상해 보고 문장을 따라 하면서 학습해 보시기 바랍니다.

Mike: Hi, I'm interested in practicing at the driving range. Can you tell me how it works?
Staff: Absolutely! We have different options depending on how often you plan to come. You can either buy a token for one-time use or a pass that lets you come multiple times. Tokens come in half or full buckets.
Mike: I'm planning to practice a lot. Can you tell me more about the pass?
Staff: Sure thing! We have a 10-use pass that comes with two extra uses for free. You can use a full-bucket of balls each time you come with this pass.
Mike: That's exactly what I need! How much does it cost?
Staff: The pass costs $160, but if you use it today, we'll also give you a token to use the vending machine for balls.
Mike: Sounds great! Can I pay for it now?
Staff: Absolutely! You can pay with cash or credit card.
Mike: I'll pay $100 in cash and the rest with my credit card. Thank you!
Staff: No problem! Once you've paid, we'll give you the pass and tokens. Just remember to put the bucket in first and then insert the token to get your balls.
Mike: Got it, thanks again!

Conditional sentences:

조건문은 만약 ~이면 ~라는 조건을 제시하고 그 조건에 따라 결과가 발생하는 구조입니다. 접속사 if를 이용해 조건문이 구성되는데 if로 시작하는 절이 종속절로서 조건절이 되고, 다른 나머지가 독립절이 되어 주절이 됩니다.
